BRIEF

Aqua is a utility torch which has fuctions such as magnetic suction, transformation, bending and other ways to adapt to different working conditions. And it’s actually the second version of the utility light based on 3-4R structure named Neptune. This name AQUA is from the overall shape of HELIX which is full of sense of fluid flow just like water, and it’s a inheritance of NEPTUNE in a sense.

PURPOSE

I’m tring to complete the previous utility light named NEPTUNE, which should has fuctions like magnetically attaching to metal surfaces, pointing and moving flexibly, rational human engineering design, and all of these with a enough small and slim appearance. Due to the large volume, the previous version was not portable, so this version iterated has reduced the occupancy space, so it can be used as a flashlight to suit different usage cases. In addition, compared with the previous version, I designed a replaceable battery and battery compartment for [Aqua]. The power supply uses 18650 batteries, which can be replaced and charged after removal. Due to the addition of charge protection module inside, it can also be directly charged through the magnetic charging seat.

COMPUTER PROTOTYPING

Here are some of the details that need to be considered during the process of modeling such as THE ARRANGEMENT AND ATTACHMENT OF THE HEAT DISSIPATION, THE CHOICE OF THERMAL ADHESIVE, EXTERNAL EXPANSION CHAMFER OF THE POWER SOCKET, INTERFERENCE BETWEEN THE THREE ROCKER ARMS OF 3-UU BIONIC JOINT, MULTISECTION OF THE LIGHT COVER, SECTION MAGNETIC SUCTION OF THE SLIDING SHELL, etc.
